The SIPMath standard is a set of rules and formats for sharing probability distributions so that risks maybe rolled up, shared, and audited.
According to ProbabilityManagement.org, "Virtual SIPs are created using the F Inverse method. A uniform random variable is used to drive the inverse cumulative distribution of the desired variate. This can be done with any random number generator and any F Inverse function. However, the HDR and Metalog are each particularly well suited to this task. Cross-platform identical streams of random variates of nearly any continuous distribution can be expressed with just a few parameters."
